The new service from Swindon Advocacy Movement (SAM) provides delivery of regular packs of personalised and accessible information and activities and follow up phone calls, aimed at reducing feelings of isolation and helping people to feel connected to a community.

What is it?

It is a pack of various accessible information and activities.

The pack and follow up phone calls aim to reduce isolation and help people to feel connected to a community.

What’s in the pack?

Each pack is personalised for the individual.

The referral form has a section to identify what the individual would like to receive.

If you aren’t sure what the person being referred would like, leave this section blank and someone from SAM will ring them to find out.

Examples of things in the packs are:

  • Easy read information about COVID 19
  • Money skills activities
  • Living skills activities
  • Art
  • Quizzes
  • Word-search
  • Ideas for helping physical and mental health
