Their research aims to improve the health of older adults through producing better evidence to influence vaccine decisions. They are interested in hearing your views on whether or not you have chosen to be vaccinated yourself, or would do so in the future.

There are opportunities to be part of a public panel, to help design the projects and discuss how best to share research findings or to be part of an advisory committee to help guide the direction of the research.  No research experience necessary.

When

The research is funded for 5 years.  They anticipate that each group will meet 1-2 times a year over this period, with each meeting lasting about 2 hours.  The first meetings will be in the spring of 2020.

Where

The groups will meet in an accessible building in Bristol.

Payment

The University will reimburse your travel expenses and pay for your attendance at meetings.  They may also be able to help cover support needs to enable you to come to meetings should this be required.

Please get in touch with Noreen Kelly at Noreen.Hopewell-Kelly@uwe.ac.uk  to talk about how the university can help you get involved.
