Dementia Action Awareness Week - 17 - 21 May

In the UK alone, more than 920,000 people are living with dementia. The Alzheimer's Society expects this to rise to over a million by 2024. Monday 17 May sees the launch of Dementia Action Week. We look at what's on offer and how you can help?

This year for Dementia Action Week, Swindon is focussing on how we can be Dementia Friendly with Think5 - five key messages, five statistics, and five days.

Throughout the week there will be a full agenda of virtual events featuring renowned speakers, groups, and opportunities to get involved.

Events vary from how to become a Dementia Champion to support groups for carers and Music for the Mind.

All events are virtual. All Dementia UK events can be registered for below;
